With ladder accidents on the rise I would like to introduce a new product to step ladders, (No-Step). No-Step is molded from a non-conductive piece of Polypropylene. It has been engineered to fit most all makes of "A-Frame" step ladders. The purpose of this design is to deny any access to or above the top step, or cap of a step ladder. The design will run from the bottom of the ladder cap downward to the very top “step” which is referred to by OSHA as “Not a Step” (1926.1053(b)(13) . This will help lower step ladder accidents in direct relation to this existing issue. This will also STRENGTHEN OSHA standards.
According to American Ladder Institute, (ALI) "ladder accidents claim nearly 300 lives yearly". Meaning almost 1 person a day will lose there life due to a simple mistake. Some will tell you, "It's not a matter of if you will fall but, when you will fall". Consider yourself very lucky if you have not fallen from a ladder. It is very common to lose your balance while working. Standing too high on a ladder is dangerous and against many safety standards. If caught breaking these standards it is likely you will be fined.
